Mas de la Griffe – Ecological camping

Our little river has often been almost “dry” during the last summers of drought. However, there is a small stone pool for children (adults accepted !). A stone wall was built between 2 large boulders and the bottom was cemented. The pool is filled by a catchment earlier in the river. Water is therefore renewed without chlorine and thus of course. The future will see a real ecological pool – bathing area naturally with aquatic plants … But as they say in catalan: “Poc a poc” … (step by step)

Hiking in the mountains close to Spain, Montalba (an almost abandoned neighbouring village) or through the cow and horse pastures. Several footpaths passing nearby, including the GR10. César, the ass, can accompany you to carry your picnic, or small children.
